Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye, cubed
  • 1 large romaine heart, chopped
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 cup croutons
  • 1/2 cup Caesar or ranch dressing
  • 1/4 cup shaved parmesan
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1

Season the cubed steak with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  2. 2

Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat until shimmering.

  3. 3

Sear steak bites 2-3 minutes, turning, until browned but still juicy. Rest.

  4. 4

Toss chopped romaine and cucumber with dressing in a large bowl.

  5. 5

Top with steak bites, croutons, and shaved parmesan.

  6. 6

Finish with an extra drizzle of dressing and cracked pepper.

Liz's Tip:

Get the pan really hot so the steak sears instead of steaming.
